GRAMMY AWARDS 2014: VINCITORI, NOMINATIONS E PERFORMERS!

Domenica 26 Gennaio si è tenuta la 56esima edizione dei GRAMMY AWARDS, gli Oscar della musica , al Staples Center di Los Angeles. L’evento, programmato sulla CBS , ha registrato un ascolto medio pari a circa 30 milioni di telespettatori (in linea con il 2013) , ed è stato condotto per la terza volta dal rapper LL Cool J.

I protagonisti indiscussi sono stati sicuramente i Daft Punk , il cui ritorno dopo 8 anni di silenzio con un album tutto dedicato al riportare in auge gli anni 70 con un tocco di pura classe e modernità ha valso loro un attenzione mondiale mai vista prima nella loro carriera. I Daft Punk, nominati in 5 categorie, vincono in tutti e 5 gli grammy a loro disposizione!

Un grande successo anche per Macklemore e Ryan Lewis. I due rapper+produttore americani hanno rivoluzionato il rap con la loro visione tutt’altro che “tette e culi” ma mostrando più lati della vita quotidiana e delle cause dell’umanitù in un modo che solo il rap può toccare…e forse arrivare ad un pubblico meno ferrato su certe tematiche (ad esempio il matrimonio e l’amore omosessuale , che regge l’intera “Same Love” , grande successo per il duo e performata durante la nottata con niente di meno che MADONNA al loro fianco).

Successone anche Pharrell Williams , che si porta pure lui a casa quattro grammy!

Justin Timberlake segue a ruota con 3 grammy vinti, mentre Jay-Z si porta a casa solo 2 grammy delle 9 nominations ricevute. 2 grammy anche per il grande Paul McCartney , 2 anche per la giovanissima Lorde ( premiata ben due volte per Best Solo Pop Performance e, uno dei premi più ambiti, Song of the Year ! ) , per Dave Grohl (dei Foo Fighters) ed infine anche per Kacey Musgrave e Tye Tribbett.
