OSCARS 2015 : NOMINATIONS, VINCITORI E PERFOMERS

La 87ª edizione della cerimonia degli Oscar si è tenuta al Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles il 22 Febbraio 2015. A condurre è stato l’attore comico Neil Patrick Harris.

 

La cerimonia è andata in onda sul canale americano ABC  e ha incollato davanti allo schermo 36,6 milioni di telespettatori americani, molto inferiore agli oltre 43 milioni che hanno seguito la scorsa edizione degli Oscars, con al timone la super Ellen DeGeneres.

I film che hanno ricevuto piu premi sono stati Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) e The Grand Budapest Hotel , con 4 statuette ciascuno, con Birdman che vince i premi piu ambiti , Best Director per il simpatico regista messicano Inarritu e Best Picture.  Si difende bene anche “Whiplash” , che porta a casa 3 statuette.

Il premio come miglior canzone originale va a “Glory” , di John Legend e Common, tratto dal film “Selma”. Il premio come miglior attore (meritatissimo) va addie Eddie Redmayne per la sua interpretazione di una malato di SLA nella pellicola “The Theory of Everything” e miglior attrice viene vinto, finalmente, da Julianne Moore per “Still Alice”.

IL PROGETTO

Mr Aubergine è il classico professore che tutti desterebbero : insegna una materia ma non è capace ad insegnare , è nevrotico e ha un assistente (Riccardo, chiamato sempre erroneamente RICCHIONARDO) che ne sa sempre più di lui e non si capacita del motivo per il quale il suo capo stia insegnando questo genere di vocaboli.

In ogni sketch, il professore più fuso del web ci insegna qualche detto “all’italiana” tradotto in inglese…peccato che sia una traduzione tutt’altro che corretta ma, secondo lui, la migliore possibile.

Il progetto è una sketch comedy a camera fissa dai circa 3 ai 4,30 minuti standard ad episodio.

FESTIVAL DI SANREMO 2015 : DAL SUCCESSO ALL’AUDITEL ALLA VITTORIA DEI ILVOLO. UN BREVE E IRONICO RECAP DELLA KERMESSE!

 

Sanremo 2015 è stato, indubbiamento, un successo all’Auditel. Ogni serata sopra i 10 milioni di media e il finale , di Sabato 14 Febbraio, ottiene la bellezza di 11,843,000 telespettari pari al 54,21 % di share, ottenuti nel lunghissimo blocco orario dalle 21,09 all’ 1,19. Insomma, ascolti stellari!

Un’edizione fortemente social e web, con un “Dopofestival” solo web e politically incorrect (godibile e ottima conduzione , anche se un po’ “frenetica” per un programma in onda dopo l’1 di notte), fra tweets e semi scandali.

Caldi consigli sull’uso degli “anestetici” , stecche a non finire, appellativi sbagliati, risultati del televoto finale sbagliati (il computer aveva scambiato il 9^posto di NINA ZILLI con NEK!) e l’infinito extra populismo dei comici (davvero poco apprezzati, salvo Virginia Raffaele) hanno fatto di Sanremo 2015 un’edizione , per quanto problematica, davvero interessante e, per questo, ha avuto il suo zoccolo duro a seguire ogni parte della diretta.

Entriamo ora maggiormente nel dettaglio.

CONDUZIONE.

Carlo Conti, un bravo conduttore che non ha saputo dare una sua vera impronta al Festival , che si è limitato a presentare gli ospiti e ha pure mancato di rispetto alla superospite Conchita Wurst non rispettando la sua artistry (riferendosi a lui come uomo anziché donna, sostanzialmente non rispettando il personaggio ospite che ha impostato tutto il suo successo sull’appellativo al femminile) , schiacciato dalle presenze di Emma Marrone e , ancor di più, dal ciclone Arisa, vera rivelazione di questo Festival.

Momento che sarà ricordato , probabilmente, come il più significativo dell’edizione è proprio di Arisa che, dopo un infortunio, viene curata con “molti antidolorifici” e l’alto dosaggio la porta a fare gaffe su gaffe durante tutte le serate, raggiungendo lo zenith del trash (ma , involontariamente , divertentissimo) in una public apology dove si scusa col pubblico per i numerosi errori e ammette , in una fragorosa risata e ringraziando il medico di Sanremo : “Scusate ma mi hanno dato un anestetico, però consiglio a tutti!!”. 

Emma ha conquistato la sua fetta di attenzioni guadagnandosi il titolo della peggio vestita, che hanno disgustato anche i suoi stessi fans. Una cantante come lei, tutt’altro che “fine” e ben lontana dalla maggior formalità tendenzialmente richiesta per il ruolo (se devi esser trash e giocosa puoi farlo, alla Littizzetto, MA DEVI SAPERLO FARE), era proprio da scegliere come conduttrice? Dire che fosse impacciata è usare il più languido degli eufemismi.

La scelta della co-conduzione fra le ultime due vincitrici del Festival, beh, non è stata proprio azzeccatissima, per quanto “curiosa”.

Inutile la presenza della bella (ma non strafiga) Rocìo.

Conti , al di là delle sue stesse gaffe, è riuscito comunque a portarsi a casa un bel successone (preceduto dal divertente talent “Tale e Quale Show”) ed anche un bel gruzzolo (a quanto pare oltre 500,000 euro).

MUSICA. (BIG)

Ma la musica del Festival? I pronostici davano il trio di tenori IlVolo come vincitori…e il trio di tenori, pensate, ha vinto! Il brano “Grande Amore” , da subito, rimane al primo posto fra i più votati ed apprezzati, e non solo dall’Italia!

Gli ex bambini prodigi di Antonella Clerici a “Ti Lascio Una Canzone” sono più che cresciuti, sia esteticamente che vocalmente.

Vittoria meritata ? Chi sono io per dire di no…vocalmente sono ineccepibili, però il mio voto andava, DI GRAN LUNGA, a Malika Ayane o Nek che hanno portato al Festival da una parte l’eleganza e un testo musicale davvero significativo e ben scritto e dall’altra un’energia del pop rock italiano, il radio friendly ed un futuro successo , da un cantautore che era stato un po’ messo in ombra, ma che è stato piacevole “riscoprire” (e che non perde affatto il suo grande fascino).

Nek e Malika, comunque, hanno avuto grandi soddisfazioni. Nek ha vinto la serata “cover” con la sua versione di “Se Telefonando” (davvero notevole) e ha anche conquistato due premi nella serata finale, oltre al secondo posto. Malika, invece, ha vinto il premio della Critica.

Tornando, invece, al gruppo vincitore, llVolo sarà certo una grande entry per l’Italia all’Eurovision di quest’anno a Vienna (a differenza del 21esimo posto di Emma Marrone nel 2014 con la sottovalutatissima “La Mia Città”) , al quale parteciperanno di diritto per aver vinto Sanremo. Il gruppo è famoso , bene o male, in tutto il mondo (addirittura Britney Spears ha recentemente twittato elogiando il trio!) e , siccome all’Eurovision possono votare per l’Italia solo i paesi esteri, ci saranno ottime possibilità che il gruppo possa ottenere un ottimo posizionamento, se non vincere.

MUSICA. (NUOVE PROPOSTE)

Siccome avevo da fare , una sera su 5 è capitato!, mi sono perso le esibizioni dei ragazzi delle nuove proposte, quindi mi limito a complimentarmi col bello e bravo Giovanni Caccamo (onestamente avrei scelto un nome d’arte, pardon) per il brano vincitore della sezione , “Ritornerò da Te”, ben scritto , suonato e cantato.

OSPITI.

Sanremo 2015 ha puntato più sul successo discografico dei brani che sul fattore “divo”, e infatti ha selezionato una serie di ospiti che non avrei mai visto ad una kermesse importante come questa. Saint Motel, The Avener (famosi per un solo pezzo diventato celebre in Italia). Un po’ meglio con Imagine Dragons e Ed Sheeran (anche decisamente più costosi) e un vero si per Conchita Wurst , vero brillante, con la bellissima “Heroes”. La riesumazione degli Spandau Ballet (molto apprezzata) e il supercomeback, diciamolo, anche divertente (e trashissimo) di Al Bano e Romina Power insieme. E poi gli Italiani Tiziano Ferro, reduce dal super successo del suo Greatest Hits “TZN”, che in soli due mesi ha venduto oltre 150,000 copie, e Biagio Antonacci, sempre stonato ma un gran piacere per la vista.

COMICI.

Commentrerò la sezione semplicemente con un mio tweet, che riassumerà al meglio il pensiero generale del mondo web.

Eccezion fatta per una, grande, comica: Virginia Raffaele.

EXTRA.

Ho parlato dei vincitori…ma chi ha perso?

Sconfittissimo “Kekko” dei Modà , che aveva scritto canzoni a mezzo Sanremo tentando di vincere , ed invece è riuscito ad ottenere , al massimo, il quarto posto di Annalisa. Ovviamente sono contento, dato che non amo (ok , detesto) assolutamente la sdolcinatezza dei testi dei Modà.

Sconfitta anche per Maria De Filippi, la quale ha sempre avuto un podio o vittorie coi suoi “Amici” mentre quest’anno , con in gara Annalisa, Moreno, i Dear Jack e la sua prof Grazia Di Michele , nessuno di loro riuscito è ad arrivare al podio (e la Di Michele ha stonato parecchio). Neanche “Maria la Sanguinaria” è , alla fine, così invincibile.

SPICE GIRLS : 4 TRACCE INEDITE DEL PERIODO 1999/2000 SBARCATE SUL WEB!

A sorpresa, dopo 15 anni dalle sessioni del terzo album d’inediti delle Spice Girls (e l’ultimo anche, almeno fin’ora…) appaiono sul web 4 pezzi inediti (3 in realtà, perché uno era già conosciuto solo che nella versione già famosa era in chiave r’n’b) del gruppo femminile più famoso di tutti i tempi!

Stiamo parlando dell’era “Forever” (UK#2 – ITA #11 ; circa 5 milioni di copie vendute nel mondo) , quella dove non compariva Geri Halliwell perché aveva lasciato il gruppo poco prima ed era impegnata con la pubblicazione del suo primo album solista “Schizophonic” (UK #4 – ITA #17 ; circa 3 milioni di copie vendute nel mondo) e i brani in questione fanno parte della “pop session” , quella che è stata poi cestinata a favore di un approccio più r’n’b data dalla produzione di Rodney Jerkins e il suo team , all’epoca super in voga, per dare alla band una nuova immagine e tentare di superare (senza successo) l’abbandono di quella che era stata indicata più volte come la leader del gruppo (Geri Halliwell, appunto).

I 4 brani “nuovi” sono :

• IF IT’S LOVIN’ ON YOUR MIND, un uptempo sullo stile 5ive quasi, decisamente in spirito 90s e super energica.

• A DAY IN YOUR LIFE , una ballad sullo stile di “Let Love Lead The Way” delle stesse Spice Girls.

• PROOF, personalmente la mia preferita, un numero ROCK da parte delle Spice Girls, che avevano accennato al tentativo con la favolosa “Step to Me“, presente solo nella versione giapponese del loro secondo disco “Spiceworld”

• RIGHT BACK AT YA , già presente in “Forever“, ma qui in versione pure-pop Spice Girls style.

FESTIVAL DI SANREMO 2015 : ECCO TUTTI I PARTECIPANTI E LE CURIOSITA’!

Questa sera, 10 Febbraio, parte la 65esima edizione del Festival della Canzone Italiana di Sanremo che si terrà a Sanremo al Teatro Ariston fino al 14 febbraio 2015 e sarà presentato da Carlo Conti, affiancato dalle cantanti Arisa ed Emma, risultate entrambe vincitrici in edizioni passate (la prima in quella del 2014 con “Controvento” e la seconda in quella del 2012 con “Non è L’Inferno” ; Arisa ha inoltre vinto anche la sezione Nuove proposte nell’edizione del 2009 col brano “Sincerità”), e dall’attrice e conduttrice televisiva spagnola Rocío Muñoz Morales.

Il vincitore della sezione Campioni avrà la possibilità di rappresentare, salvo sua rinuncia, l’Italia all’Eurovision Song Contest 2015 che si svolgerà a Vienna, in Austria, il 19, 21 e 23 maggio 2015.

GRAMMY AWARDS 2015: VINCITORI, NOMINATIONS E PERFORMERS!

Domenica 8 Febbraio si è tenuta la 57esima edizione dei GRAMMY AWARDS, gli Oscar della musica , al Staples Center di Los Angeles. L’evento, programmato sulla CBS , ha registrato un ascolto medio pari a circa 25,30 milioni di telespettatori (in discesa di circa 5 milioni rispetto a 2013 e 2014) , ed è stato condotto per la quarta volta consecutiva dal , consolidato, rapper LL Cool J.

Il protagonista indiscusso è stato senza dubbio Sam Smith, che si è portato a casa ben 4 statuatte su 6 nominations ricevute, e si è preso gli awards più importanti tra cui Best Pop Vocal Album (“In The Lonely Hour” che ha venduto oltre 3,3 milioni di copie in un anno) , Song & Record of the Year per la sua hit single “Stay With Me”.

Beyoncè e Pharrell si sono comunque difesi più che bene, con 3 grammy vinti a testa e due grammys sono andati anche a Beck (tra cui Album of the Year, A SORPRESA DIREI, per il suo “Morning Phase”) , Jay Z, Eminem , Kendrick Lamar  e Jack White.

Lady Gaga vince , assieme a Tony Bennett, un grammy per il suo “Cheek to Cheek” (oltre 1 milione di copie vendute) come Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album e Katy Perry rimane, ancora una volta, a bocca asciutta nonostante le due nominations , le sue super vendite discografiche e la buona performance della serata, con “By The Grace of God” e Madonna torna trionfante , in una divina rendition del suo nuovo singolo “Living for Love”, che anticipa l’uscita del suo 13esimo album “Rebel Heart”.
